25 Feburary 2025, Continental Wine & Food has introduced a new cream liqueur brand, Lacey's Vodkashake, to the UK market.
The 15% ABV cream liqueurs can be served chilled as shots or mixed with hard milkshakes or creamy cocktails. The two flavors – banana and strawberry – are mixed with vodka, natural fruit flavors, and a creamy base and are naturally vegan-friendly, gluten and allergen-free.
Amy Giacobbi, Continental Wine & Food's marketing manager, added: "Creamy cocktails are casting aside their old festive connotations and are now an all-year-round option, with ice cream drinks, hard milkshakes, and chilled shots joining the trend as consumers seek sweeter options to the classic serves."

Lacey's Vodkashake is stocked in B&M stores at a retail price of £12 per 70cl bottle.
As per Coherent Market Insights, the plant-based milk industry is expected to grow at 7.4% CAGR over the forecast period 2025-2032 as consumers are increasingly demanding dairy alternatives owing to lactose intolerance, allergies, and the need for lower-calorie, high-nutrient foods. It was expected to be US$ 21.35 Bn in 2025 and shall be US$ 35.22 Bn by the last year of the year 2032.
The increasing popularity of flexitarianism and veganism, as individuals increasingly turn towards plant-based eating in general, has stretched the market.
According to CMI's research consultant Sakshi Suryawanshi, plant-based milk such as soy milk, almond milk, and coconut milk are becoming increasingly popular since they are believed to be more nutritional alternatives to dairy milk.
