UK Confectionery firm Stockley's has introduced two new 'newstalgic' products to its expanding range of gifts.
In a statement to mark the launch, Stockley's revealed sharing packs, such as bags and boxes, have increased by 8.7% in the past year. With this fact in mind, the brand has created 'everyday affordable' treats that connect 'happy nostalgic memories with older consumers,' while appealing to younger consumers with access to 'yesteryear flavors' and textures with a twist.
As per coherent market insights, the confectionary industry is expected to expand at a significant CAGR during the forecast period of 2025-2032. The market is expected to expand at a notable rate during the assessemnt period. Industry size is being driven by rising sales in developing economies.
The newest introduction features two new sugar confectionery lines: Jam Roly Poly & Custard, which has a raspberry chewy centre, and Choc-Scotch, which is a butterscotch sweet with a milk chocolate centre.
Stockley's head of marketing, Andy Valentine, added: "Having recorded enviable growth over the past 12 months, with new prestige distributors like Cotswold Fayre and Cress coming on board, Stockley's is in no mood to let its foot off the throttle.". Jam Roly Poly & Custard is a fantastic reworking of this sweet but tart classic, while Choc-Scotch offers our take on a crunchy butterscotch shell with real butter that is an interesting contrast to its rich, but smooth milk chocolate center.
Founded in 1918 by Malcom Stockley in the very center of Lancashire, UK, after returning from the First World War, Stockley's still employs handcrafted techniques to produce traditional British confectionery items.
Along with these new additions, the company has also recently introduced a sugar-free range, providing a healthier option for sweet tooths. Jam Roly Poly and Choc-Scotch are both now available directly from Stockley's and through selected retailers at £5.49 for 250g.
