
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is introducing three new fruity flavors to its Fanta zero-sugar range in the UK.
Two new permanent ones, Fanta Zero Apple and Fanta Zero Raspberry, will hit shelves on 24 February. They will be sold in 330ml cans, 500ml rPET bottles, 2L rPET bottles and multipacks. Also new is a limited-edition Fanta Tutti Frutti Zero Sugar, which will be available from mid-March in a 'sleek' can format with bold and vibrant packaging, designed to 'take shoppers back to their teenage years' with a blend of peach, pineapple, and banana flavors.
The low-calorie flavored carbonates sector has grown by 23.1% in value over the last year, NIQ research has found. This new launch from CCEP will assist retailers in broadening their customer base and accessing the 2.5 million consumers who regularly purchase Fanta flavors, as per Kantar information, while meeting the increasing demand for sugar-free variants.
Rob Yeomans, commercial development vice president at CCEP GB, added: "We are delighted to be launching our core range of Fanta zero sugar flavor variants with tangy Fanta Zero Apple and sweet Fanta Zero Raspberry joining the portfolio as consumers increasingly want an apple and raspberry flavors."
He went on to say: "Our Tutti Frutti Zero Sugar limited edition is akin to a carnival in a can, featuring bright packaging that grabs attention and a retro taste. Limited editions are a fantastic way to connect new shoppers, exciting and encouraging people to talk about the Fanta brand, while enabling our customers to drive sales."
