UK cookie dough company Doughlicious has launched a range of pre-baked cookies, 'Grab & Go,' to sit alongside its existing range of ready-to-bake gourmet cookie dough products.
The soft-baked cookie range comprises Double Chocolate Chip Cookie, Salted Caramel Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Banana Good Granola Cookie, which is 17g protein per cookie, provides a source of fibre and contains vitamins D and E.
According to Coherent Market Insights, the industry for protein cookies is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of 5.94% in the period 2022 to 2030 owing to an increase in prevalence of obesity across the globe and demand for convenience food that is nutritious. The industry is poised to be valued at US$ 47.78 Bn by 2030.
According to CMI senior management consultant Yash Doshi, the segment is fueled by growing consumer concern for health and fitness, as protein-fortified snacks find favor among consumers who are on the lookout for a healthy diet and active living.
Doughlicious Cookies are made in London, UK, and with British oats. The new Grab & Go range is created to offer a quick solution for lunchboxes, office snacks, or an after-gym treat. The new range is clean-label, naturally gluten-free, and vegan.
Founder of Doughlicious, Kathryn Bricken, said: “At Doughlicious, we’re constantly innovating with new ingredients, formats, and recipes in our kitchen – one of the many benefits of producing in-house in our dedicated facility".
"We circle our range around our scrummy Cookie Dough and we felt it was high time we came up with some ready-to-eat Cookies to complement our range and options for grabbing a bite on the go, in addition to expanding our Cookie Dough platform – now you can devour Doughlicious like never before."
The cookies are also now available nationwide at Ocado, Go Puff, Deliveroo, Zapp, Amazon, Whole Foods Market, British Airways, LNER trains, and Hunts Food Group for £1.99 per 82g cookie.
