Scheduled to appear on shelves at large retailers like Walmart in September 2025, Bloom Pop plans to be a better-for-you alternative to conventional sodas.

With just 20 calories and 4g or less of sugar per serving, the drink contains a novel prebiotic with scientific research demonstrating its ability to positively impact gut health, which represents the increased consumer trend toward functional beverages that are more about well-being over flavor.

As per Coherent Market Insights, the functional beverage industry is projected to expand at a CAGR of 8.6% during the period from 2023 to 2030 because of a rising demand for health-promoting products. Released at the latest Expo West 2025, Bloom Pop will launch in five flavors, including Shirley Temple, Raspberry Lemon, and Orange.

The growth of Bloom Nutrition has been aggressive and that of product successes. According to the company, their Sparkling Energy drink posted over 3 million cans sold during its first two and a half months and climbed into the leading group of energy drinks in the US market immediately.

This achievement has set a firm base for Bloom Pop, which is poised to benefit from growing consumer demand for health-focused drink products.

As the beverage sector keeps developing, the market demand for functional items is growing. Market experts propose that companies like Bloom Nutrition stand a good chance of taking market share in the category by introducing new products that appeal to health-conscious consumers.
