Audi is expected to launch several new models, such as new Q3, Q7 facelift, Q5 facelift, new A3 sedan, and A4 facelift in India in the coming future.
On August 27, Audi launched the RS Q8 SUV in the Indian automotive market at US$ 279957.09 (Rs 2.07 crore, ex-showroom, India). Bookings for the new performance SUV have begun already, customers can book the new performance SUV with a token amount of US$ 20022.99 (Rs 15 lakhs) through the company’s official website or at dealerships. In early 2020, the company introduced the flagship A8 L sedan and Q8 SUV. Audi is also gearing up to launch the Q2 SUV in India in September 2020. The Q2 is the smallest member of the company’s global SUV range and sits below the next-gen Q3.
The RS Q8 is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that delivers 600 hp of power and 800 Nm of peak torque. The petrol unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission system and the company’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Moreover, the twin-turbo V8 unit is paired with a mild hybrid system that is based on a 48-volt main electrical system. The SUV can accelerate from o to 62 miles (0 to 100 km) in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of around 305 km per hour.
The SUV features an upgraded suspension, brakes, a large front air intake, single-frame grille, large quad exhausts, a rear diffuser, a roof spoiler, and custom side sills. The RS Q8 gets an LED headlamps, four-zone climate control, sports adaptive air suspension, two configurable RS drive modes, hands-free parking, 360-degree cameras, and more. Customers have the option to add in the kit such as Matrix LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display, a B&O Advanced sound system, an RS Sports exhaust, and electromechanical roll stabilization.
