These extenders leverage Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) technology to expand the bandwidth capacity. Differentiating between the two, the Nighthawk AX1800 mesh extender is a newly introduced four-stream extender that can achieve speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps.
