- In April 2022, Evoqua Water Technologies, an industry leader in mission-critical water treatment solutions, announced the closing of the previously announced acquisition acquired of the renal business historically operated by Mar Cor Purification and Cantel Medical, subsidiaries of STERIS Plc. Mar Cor is a leading manufacturer and servicer of medical water, commercial, and industrial solutions in North America. Mar Cor offers significant technical expertise in designing, building, and servicing high-purity water treatment systems. With this acquisition, Evoqua will be able to expand our its service footprint in North America to provide proven water solutions for the healthcare industry.
- In July 2020, Halma’s UV Group of companies, a technology company (Aquionics, Berson & Hanovia) launched AirLine UVv, a UVC device for HVAC systems. The UVC lamp is effective in killing harmful pathogens, such as SARS-CoV-2—the virus, which causes COVID-19. The company aimed to support the eradication of COVID-19 with this launch.
