In July 2022, Southeastern Spine Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center, an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), launched its robotic-assisted surgery program. The Center will utilize this system to perform total knee replacements.
In November 2022, The Surgery Center at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and the TGH Surgery Center at Morsani, named to Newsweek's list of Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers for 2023. This is the third year in a row that both centers have been on the list (the Morsani Center was added in 2021 under the former name USF Ambulatory Surgery Center).
