In July 2019, DroneShield Ltd. A drone security technology provider company launched a new product known as DroneGun MKIII, which is a light weight drone jammer weight less than 2 kg and having a shorter effective range of 500m versus 1-2km for the DroneGun Tactical. This new product is also designed to disrupt multiple RF frequency bands simultaneously and also is featured with GNSS disruption capability.
In November 2018, ELTA Systems a subsidiary Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) unveiled their new and improved configuration Drone Guard system with which is now able to detects, identifies and disrupts the operation of unmanned aircraft system and small drones with newly added Communication Intelligence (COMINT) system and exclusive communication protocol analysis.
In April 2019, Dedrone an airspace security company announced the launch of their new DroneTracker 4 software which is detects, locates, and tracks simultaneous drone action approximately 1 km away from the site to protect against drone threats
