In November 2019, AMI, a brand of ESAB launched orbistar tungsten electrodes for enhanced orbital tig equipment performance. The product is was manufactured by collaborating with Wolfram Industrie which is a manufacturer of premium tungstens and molybdenum materials. The product facilitates the superior arc stability and arc starting performance due to its purity, controlled grain size & manufacturing process and others.
