In April 2019, Centrica Storage – an offshore operator upgraded its personal protection suits with the new Tri-Approved Immersion Suit manufactured by Survitec Group to enhance the security of the offshore industry workforce. Centrica Storage was the first offshore operator to upgrade its safety suit in Europe.
In December 2018, Hensen Protection AS launched a new helicopter crew suit - "SeaAir Europe Pilot Suit". The company used SeaWind high-tech suit as a starting point to make the Pilot Suit. The suit has newly developed neck closure with adjustable seal on this survival suit.
In December 2017, Hansen Protection AS, survival suits and personal protection suits manufacturer, acquired Lyngsøe Rainwear – a company providing rainwear solutions which offer wide range of waterproof, wind proof, and breathable garments. The company has its distribution center located at Herning, Denmark, holding 600,000 garments in stock for fast delivery to over 30 countries. The acquisition of Lyngsøe Rainwear is in line with the company’s personal protection business portfolio.
In November 2016, Survitec Group launched a “1000 series” survival suit for the offshore wind energy industry. The suit is CE-PPE compliant to ISO 15027:2012 and has a thermal liner for aviation and marine use.
