- In November 2018, Nestlé announced to invest US$ 77.20 million for growth of ‘Acqua Panna’ brand, Nestlé’s premium still water business. This investment is aimed at redesigning the production site at Scarperia e San Piero, improving the site’s efficiency, and promoting this brand around the world. This investment is expected to strengthen Nestlé’s position in still drinks market.
- In June 2019, All Market Inc., introduced ‘Ever & Ever’, a new aluminum canned bottled water brand. Company claims that new aluminum containers are easily and infinitely recyclable when correctly disposed off. This was aimed at replacing single-use plastic bottles of water. This, in turn, provides consumers the opportunity to purchase single-use bottled water on-the-go, packaged in easy to recycle aluminum cans.
- On 1st October 2019, The Coca-cola Company announced to launch its first energy drink ‘Coca-Cola Energy’ in the U.S. market in 2020. The energy drink will be formulated with guarana extracts, caffeine and B-vitamins. Moreover, it will be available in different flavors such as cherry and will also be available in zero-sugar options.
