- In On June 29, 2023, Acuitive Technologies, Inc., a medical device company, announced the first surgical application of its Citrelock ACL Tendon Fixation Device. The novel ACL device offers surgeons a distinct design with a tendon-friendly spiral thread and Citregen, a next-generation resorbable technology with unique molecular and mechanical features for orthopedic surgical applications. This tendon fixation device will be used in sports medicine.
