North America has established itself as the dominant region in the global soda ash market with estimated 37.8% share in 2024. The U.S. accounts for the largest share of the soda ash market in North America due to strong presence of glass and chemicals manufacturing industries. Majority of soda ash in the U.S. is utilized by the flat glass sector. The region is a key exporter of natural soda ash to other parts of the world.
