In February 2022, Croda International, a U.K.-based specialty chemicals company, partnered with Xampla, a company engaged in the creation of plant protein material for commercial use to contrive a completely biodegradable seed coating that is microplastic-free in nature. This partnership is helping Croda International lead this market. This will also help Croda International offer enduring solutions in compliance with the microplastic ban in a few countries.
