Incidence of accidental skin burns are increasing across the globe. Skin burns are broadly classified into three levels, namely 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns. Temporary skin material: Its effect lasts between several months and 2.5 years, depending on the type, quality, and quantity of injected material.
Permanent skin material: These are epidermal skin and dermal skin materials. Bio-Alcamid is a synthetic polymer that contains 97% water. It is injected into the inner tissue to fill and thicken it.
Composite Skin Material: These are further sub-segmented into skin graft and engineered skin material.
