This collaboration leverages Juniper Mist Cloud and ServiceNow Telecom Service Management and Order Management for Telecom, enabling clients to eliminate multi-layer, multivendor solutions, increase network deployment and operational efficiencies, and reduce costs.
In April 2022, Elisa Polystar, a Sweden-based provider of telecom network automation software, acquired FRINX for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition aims to accelerate Elisa Polystar's development activities in telecom network automation software and expand its digital services globally. FRINX, based in Slovakia, is a provider of network automation software.
In February 2023, Vodafone and Samsung Electronics disclosed plans to extend the deployment of 5G Open RAN across Europe. Initiating open network initiatives in Spain and Germany, they concurrently improved Vodafone’s 5G network in the U.K. The partnership's initial success was marked by Vodafone U.K.’s launch of the first 5G Open RAN site in Bath, U.K.
