In November 2022, Qualcomm Technologies Inc. and Renault SA announced a partnership to develop high-performance digital platforms for the next generation of Renault vehicles. Under this agreement, Qualcomm will provide its Snapdragon digital chassis technology to support the digital cockpit, connectivity, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features in Renault's upcoming vehicle models.
In November 2022, Harman International, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, revealed a partnership with Renault SA. As part of this collaboration, Harman International will supply the new Renault Austral model with custom-designed, high-performance Harman Kardon loudspeakers.
In October 2022 Hyundai Mobis and Luxoft have jointly developed a next-generation in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) platform called the Mobis Infotainment System (MIS) that can control up to six displays, including a digital cluster, augmented reality heads-up display, center stack display, and three passenger displays. The new platform was unveiled at the International Suppliers Fair in Germany in October 2022, as the two companies aim to promote the advanced IVI system to global automakers.
In June 2022, Nio Inc. introduced their ES7 sports utility vehicle in the Chinese market. The ES7 is equipped with an advanced infotainment system that features a 23-speaker surround-sound configuration, providing an immersive audio experience for passengers.
