Global In Vitro Toxicity Testing Market - Regional Analysis

Among region, North America is estimated to hold a dominant position in the global in vitro toxicity testing market over the forecast period. For instance,  on April 03, 2023, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services published Evaluation of In Vitro Cytotoxicity Test Methods through National Toxicology Programme, to increase adoption and implementation of the in vitro toxicity testing approach. The Guidance Document on Using In Vitro Data to Estimate In Vivo Starting Doses for Acute Toxicity was prepared by The Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Validation of Alternative Methods (ICCVAM). According to the ICCVAM, The Near-term validation studies should concentrate on two common basal cytotoxicity assays employing rodent and human cell systems. The ICCVAM also advised that long-term research should concentrate on the creation of in vitro test methodologies to evaluate biokinetics, metabolism, and organ-specific toxicity, in order to enhance in vitro predictions of acute oral systemic toxicity.
