In August 2017, the SpaceX company tested for its pusher vehicle on the hyperloop test track and has achieved to reach up to 355 km/h within the sealed vacuum tunnel and is expected to reach around 500 km/h with minor changes in design. Company is focusing on improving the design and speed of hyperloop pods that can be both shock absorbent as well as charge itself from the renewable sources of energy.
In July 2017, the Virgin Hyperloop One company tested for the second phase of its hyperloop pod reaching a speed of 310 km/h covering an approximate distance of 437 meters along with the revelation of first generation aeroshell.
