In 2020, BASF launched FortiCell® H40, a new high-performance acrylic foam core for composite applications. FortiCell® H40 is designed for use in demanding applications, such as aerospace and defense. It has a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent thermal and moisture resistance.
In 2021, Huntsman Advanced Materials launched Rexcel™ ACF, a new acrylic foam core for composite sandwich panels. Rexcel™ ACF is lightweight, strong, and durable. It is also resistant to chemicals, moisture, and UV radiation.
