In 2017, Dummen Orange acquired McHutchison and Vaughan’s Horticulture (U.S.-based wholesale plant brokerage firm). This will help Dummen Orange to expand its distribution network and increase its market presence in the U.S.

This will allow Syngenta Flowers to expand its product portfolio.
In May 2019, Selecta Klemm GmbH & Co. KG acquired La Villetta s.r.l. (Italy-based producer of carnation flowers). This acquisition will help Selecta One to expand its product portfolio in cut carnation category and also strengthen its market presence in the category.
In May 2019, Syngenta Flowers Inc. entered into an agreement with Lazzeri Societa Agricola A.R.L (Italy-based producer of ornamental annual flowers). Under this agreement, Syngenta Flowers will market and sell Lazzeri’s poinsettia varieties in the U.S. and Canada. This will allow Syngenta Flowers to expand its product portfolio in poinsettia category.
