According to an article ‘Global Burden of Disease’ published in the journal, The Lancet in 2016, neck pain is one of the most prevalent disease worldwide, which degrades the quality of life for a patient. High prevalence of neck pain is expected to boost growth of the cervical pillow market. According to the United Nations’ International Population Report published in 2015, around 617 million people has age 65 years and above. This age group majorly faces chronic neck pain from cervical spondylitis and other causes, which will increase the demand for cervical pillow as better sleeping positions is required during suffering from pain, which in turn is expected to fuel growth of the market
