In August 2014, U.S. FDA approved Genentech’s Avastin, which is bevacizumab solution for intravenous infusion in combination with paclitaxel for the treatment of persistent, recurrent, or metastatic cervical cancer.

Furthermore, increasing funding for cancer research, rising insurance coverage, and increase in the number of new targeted cancer drugs are expected to support the revenue growth of cervical cancer drugs market.
