In October, 2021, Mamava, a manufacturer of freestanding lactation pods, announced the acquisition of Pod Manufacturing company, Expanding Design and Production Efforts in Vermont, US. This acquisition will help Mamava company in further expansion of breastfeeding supplies.

In August 2021, Medela, a supplier of breast pumps, breastfeeding accessories and medical vacuum technology, had announced that a new breast milk saver solution had been launched to encourage lactating parents around the world. The Silicone Breast Milk Collector offers protection for each drop of milk. Medela introduced this Collector to support breastfeeding families across North America. The silicone designed milk collector is dishwasher safe and made from 100% food-grade silicone, holding up to 100 mL / 3.4 oz. of breast milk, whereas the silicon breast milk collector collects breast milk that naturally flows from one breast while nursing from the other.

Furthermore, in January 2019, Medela LLC, a supplier of breast pumps, breastfeeding accessories and medical vacuum technology, launched research-based PersonalFit Flex breast shields to help lactating moms pump over 11 percent more breast milk faster, and expands access to 24/7 LC, a service providing live breastfeeding help for moms available through the MyMedela app.
