Bottled Water Processing Market Key Developments:-

In February 2017, Planinka a.d. a Serbian company, opened a new line of bottling water at its factory for bottling ‘Prolom voda’ bottled water. Company invested about US$ 2.75 million for this capacity expansion. This is expected to increase the capacity of bottled water processing to 13,200 units per hour.
In July 2017, The General Electric Company (GE) launched its new water treatment solution ‘BEVPAK’. BEVPAK is an integrated ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis (RO) system used for water production which is ideal for removing particulates and microorganisms in the feed water. This series of RO technology is designed for production of water for bottled water, carbonated soft drinks, juices, and non-carbonated beverages.
In July 2019, Sidel Group introduced ‘X-LITE Still’ poly ethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles. X-LITE Still is a 500 ml PET packaging solution for bottling non-pressurized still water. This is expected to be the world’s lightest bottle with 6.5 g of weight and a height of 195 mm and having excellent performance at very high production speeds.
