New product approvals/launch
- On January 11, 2023, Timesco Healthcare Ltd, a medical equipment manufacturer, announced the launch of their ground-breaking new video laryngoscope to support intubation in patients with difficult airways at Arab Health 2023.
- In April 2022, OMNIVISION, a leading global developer of semiconductor solutions, including advanced digital imaging, analog and touch and display technology, launched new laryngoscope reference designs that include a range of OMNIVISION products that help improve patient care by providing crisp, clear images for single-use video laryngoscopes.
- In July 2020, Nihon Kohden, a medical device company, announced the launch of its NK AWS-S200 video laryngoscope in the United States, marketed under the Pentax brand outside the U.S., which is designed to achieve intubation faster.

- On June 21, 2023, Teleflex Incorporated, a leading global provider of medical technologies, announced a partnership with Shenzhen Insighters Medical Technology Co., Ltd., a medical technology company, as the exclusive U.S. distributor of the Insighters Video Laryngoscope system, which is designed to inspect the upper glottic airway and facilitate endotracheal intubation.
- In January 2022, Prodol Meditec, SA, the manufacturer of the Airtraq video laryngoscope and camera system, selected Mercury Medical, a healthcare specialty organization, as their exclusive North America distributor partner for their state-of-the-art video laryngoscope product line.
- In February 2021, Ambu A/S, a healthcare company, strengthened its position in endoscopy by extending contracts with two key group purchasing organizations in the U.S. With this, about 90% of U.S. hospitals gained access to the company's lineup of single-use endoscopes, including rhino laryngoscopes, bronchoscopes, and cystoscopes.
