Among regions, North America is expected to gain highest share in the market over the forecast period owing to the increasing number of surgical procedures and rising geriatric population in the region. For instance, the global population is ageing rapidly, which in turn is increasing the burden or prevalence of chronic diseases. More than 85% of older adults have at least one chronic health condition, and 60% have at least two chronic conditions, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
