• In September 2019, ChemChina subsidiary, Syngenta AG (crop protection chemicals manufacturer, including abamectin) acquired Corpio – A leading digital farm management company. This acquisition will help the company to strengthen its portfolio by integrating technology to their agro-science business.
• In August 2017, DuPont de Nemours, Inc and Dow Chemical merged to form a single entity – “DowDuPont”. This merger marked one of the major M&A’s in the chemicals industry.
