Facial injectables, are also called as facial fillers, and are used in aesthetic therapeutic procedures to enhance facial appearance. Facial injectables are used for smoothening wrinkles and scars on the face by filling the target area. Dermal fillers reduce wrinkles and add volume to the cheeks and lips and are injected directly in the wrinkles, while anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscles that cause creases. Facial injectable are mostly used for treating early signs of aging and increasing the aesthetic beauty. Some of the most commonly used facial injectables are collagens, hyaluronic acids, polymers, and botulinum toxin.
