In March 2022, SES, a leading satellite operator, announced the acquisition of DRS Global Enterprise Solutions (GES), a U.S.-based subsidiary of defense contractor DRS Leonardo. GES provides managed satellite communication services to the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies.
