New product launches
- On September 26, 2023, Cosmos Health Inc., a diversified, vertically integrated global healthcare group engaged in innovative R&D, owner of proprietary nutraceutical brands, manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products, and operator of a telehealth platform, announced the expansion of its C-Sept brand with the launch of the new C-Scrub Wash 4% CHG Biocide. Following the acquisition of Cana Laboratories ("Cana"), Cosmos Health obtained a proprietary portfolio of branded pharmaceutical, dermocosmetic, antiseptic, and food supplement products, including the C-Sept brand. The company is now announcing the expansion of the C-Sept hand antiseptic gel line with the introduction of C-Scrub, an antiseptic soap.
- In September 2022, Deepak Fertilisers, an India manufacturer of industrial and agricultural chemicals, crop nutrients, and fertilizers, and Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. (DFPCL), a leading producers of fertilizers and industrial chemicals, announced the launch of Cororid disinfection solutions designed to cater to the specific needs of hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other medical and healthcare set-ups. Cororid is a certified, high-quality Iso-Propyl Alcohol (IPA) based formulation that is the world’s most preferred active ingredient in hand sanitizers and other disinfection products.
- In June 2022, Sonoma Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a global healthcare leader developing and producing patented Microcyn technology-based stabilized hypochlorous acid (HOCl) products, announced that Nanocyn hospital-grade disinfectant has been added to the list of COVID-19 disinfectants maintained by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s List N.
- In May 2020, Skylar, a maker of scented products that are free of harmful chemicals, announced the launch of a new hand sanitizer product that is clean and effective. The sanitizer is 62 percent alcohol, which meets the CDC’s recommended level and eliminates 99.9 percent of germs and bacteria upon contact.
Acquisition and partnerships
- On May 2, 2023, Kinnos, the maker of Highlight, a novel technology that colorizes disinfectants, announced a US$ 15 million financing led by a group of current and former industry leaders. The company also named healthcare veteran Steve Fanning as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. This latest infusion of capital and new leadership will enable the company to rapidly scale to meet growing healthcare industry demand for Highlight, its patented portfolio of products for improving cleaning and safety by visibly coloring the disinfectants hospitals currently use.
- In August 2022, ADYTON s.r.o., a leading provider of medical technology products, had been a primary provider of healthcare technologies for more than 53 million inhabitants in central and eastern Europe (CEE.) Intent upon bringing its safer, more effective infection prevention solutions to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland, EvaClean EU Ltd. formed a strategic distribution partnership with ADYTON, formalized during a signing ceremony in Prague. Both companies are known as status quo disrupters who bring innovation to preventing serious healthcare conditions.
