New Product Launches
- In 2022, Panda Selected (a catering-oriented life service operator that provides for enterprises) launched its first dark kitchen in Shanghai to expand its delivery-only services. This marks the leading Chinese food delivery company\'s foray into the ghost kitchen segment.
- In 2021, Rebel Foods (an Indian online restaurant company which operates 11 cloud kitchen brands including Faasos, Behrouz Biryani and Oven Story) opened its first cloud kitchen in China in partnership with a local partner. This marks the Indian food delivery unicorn\'s expansion into the overseas market starting with China.
- In 2022, DoorDash (a San Francisco–based company that operates an online food ordering and food delivery platform) launched its first partner cloud kitchen in China as part of its Asia expansion plans. The kitchen will allow DoorDash\'s restaurant partners to expand their delivery reach.
